Sri Lanka Automobile Association in Japan(SLAAJ) is formed under the guidance and directions of His Excellency the ambassador Admiral (Rtd.) Wasantha Karannagoda, Ambassador to gather similar interest groups in the united way to exchange their views in that particular fields, rather than remaining and operating in the divided manner having different opinions. The SLAAJ is a self motivated, non-profit making social Organization that is functioning while interacting with the Embassy of Sri Lankan in Japan.
The inception Meeting of the SLAAJ was held On 11th February, 2012 at 6.30 p.m at the residence of H. E the Ambassador of Sri Lanka.
The purpose of our Association is, with the cooperation of our members, to having trade development, between Sri Lanka and Japan with the participation through integrated programs, to launch the awareness programs in the field of automobile industry, spare part and other businesses, and to develop mutual relationship with vehicle dealers and other parties while cooperating to relevant regulations and to take up other issues with Sri Lankan government as well as local and international organizations.
