2nd Interactive meeting with Inspection Companies in Nagoya

The 2nd Interactive meeting between SLAAJ and used car inspection companies held in Nagoya on 21st August 2018.
The meeting was chaired by SLAAJ President Mr. Nishantha Meegalla along with Mr. Mohamed Ansar (Vice President, Nagoya), Mr. Tennakoon Rohana, legal advisor Mr. Tiwanka Ekarathna and the officers from four leading inspection companies (JAAI, JEVIC, Bureau Veritas and USS Logistics).
Purpose of the meeting was to discuss some points which were still unclear about the requirement of the certificate by Government of Sri Lanka according to Gazette to importing used cars from Japan to Sri Lanka.
In coming next few days, Inspection companies will send an explanation and sample letter to Government of Sri Lanka about certificate compliance requirement according to Gazette along with letters of SLAAJ and Sri Lanka Embassy in Tokyo.
